Applications for the 2026 round of Roslin Foundation funded PhD Studentships, based at the Roslin Institute, University of Edinburgh are now CLOSED

These 4 year studentships support outstanding students to undertake world leading research across areas including animal health, livestock production, genetics and related biosciences.

Roslin Foundation studentships offer enhanced support, including:

• An uplift on the standard UKRI minimum stipend
• An enhanced research & training support award
• A travel allowance to support attendance at seminars and conferences
